“Motivation comes from within each individual. It is a personal thing. It is pride, guts, desire, whatever you want to call it; some people have it in their bellies, and some don't.”

Kettlebell Training melts body fat

Kettlebell training is a hugely effective form of resistance exercise, which can target many muscles simultaneously providing an extremely effective means of boosting the body’s metabolism and incinerating body fat in record time. Not only will you burn a vast number of calories during a kettlebell workout but due to the “afterburn effect” of the high intensity exercise you will continue burning a high level of calories for up to 72 hours after working out. As if that was not enough the stronger muscles you will develop as a result of kettlebell training will serve to PERMENANTLY BOOST your metabolism. So even when you are watching your favourite TV show or fast asleep you will be burning more calories than prior to commencing kettlebell training. This is really powerful stuff.

Kettlebell workouts are both short and mightily effective

You should train to live, not live to train. The high intensity of kettlebell workouts means your workouts are short but extremely effective giving you more time to get on and do the things that you want to do. Imagine training for half the time and getting twice the results. This is just what you will experience when adding kettlebells to your fitness program. Simultaneously you will be able to perform;

  • Strength Training
  • Cardio Vascular Training
  • Core Stability Training
  • Flexiblity Training
The result of which is a strong healthy body that looks and feels great and a hell of a lot more free time to get on and make the most of your life.

Kettlebell training allows you to train anywhere anytime

Train at home, in the park, on the beach the choice is yours! No more expensive gym memberships and claustrophobic training environments. You are in complete control of when & where you train. Fit your training around your lifestyle and say goodbye to crowded gyms, wasted hours travelling and inconvenient training hours.

Kettlebells are one of the most cost effective training tools in existence

Most kettlebells cost less than a single months gym membership at many of today’s overcrowded and poorly equipped facilities. Furthermore kettlebells are fairly indestructible. Buy one once and it will keep you in amazing shape for a lifetime. Now that’s a good investment!!

Kettlebell Training can improve multiple categories of strength

Strength in its most basic definition is the ability of the body to overcome resistance, however it is actually more complex than this as there are multiple categories of strength which should be considered when training;

  • Max Strength – the maximum amount of force that one can exert under voluntary effort
  • Explosive Strength – ability to generate substantial force in minimal time
  • Speed Strength – ability to quickly perform an unloaded movement or one with small external resistance
  • Strength Endurance – ability to maintain force production over time
The good news is that with Kettlebells you can effectively train all these attributes for a complete strength training solution.

Kettlebell training can replace your cardio equipment

With kettlebells there is NO need to endure tedious mind numbingly boring cardiovascular workouts on the overcrowded and overrated cardio machines EVER AGAIN. High repetition kettlebell drills, sequences and circuits offer far greater benefit to your cardio respiratory fitness than a 30 min jog could ever hope to achieve. The need to recruit many muscles to perform repetitive high intensity movements such as swings and snatches not only creates a huge demand for oxygen but also a strong need to flush out the various by-products of exercise such as lactic acid. This combined stimulus will result in your heart and lungs going into overdrive. Your stamina, endurance and heart health will reach new levels after following a kettlebell strength endurance program.

Kettlebell training allows you to work in a longer range of motion than other forms of resistance training

What does this mean to you? Well simply it will lead to strong, balanced and healthy joints, increased physical performance and a reduced susceptibility to injury.

Kettlebell Training improves your mobility

Tied into the previous point the full range of motion achieved in many kettlebell exercises has great knock on effects to your mobility. Mobility is the product of both flexibility and stability. Kettlebell training allows you to simultaneously train both these important physical attributes allowing you to move with far more freedom and fluidity.

Kettlebell Training strengthens your posterior chain

Your probably wondering what the hell is my posterior chain? Well the posterior chain is a series of muscles running up the backside of your body made up of (but not exclusive to) the following muscles; erector spinae (spine) gluteus maximus (butt) and the hamstrings. Modern lifestyles have resulted in a drastic reduction in posterior chain strength amongst the general population. This is not a good thing as the posterior chain is responsible for movements such as hip extension (the source of athletic power) and lower back stabilisation. Training with kettlebells is one of the best ways to strengthen and improve the endurance of these muscles resulting in improved athleticism, promotion of correct posture and reduction in the incidence of low back pain.

Kettlebell Training is excellent for correcting imbalances between limbs

Kettlebell training allows you to train one limb at a time so that you can highlight and address any strength imbalances that may exist between your right and left sides.

Kettlebell Training allows for limitless variety

One of the key training principles is variety and there is no better tool at providing it than a kettlebell. With just ONE kettlebell there are literally hundreds of different exercises and progressions to master. For example simply by changing your grip on the regular press you can make a simple exercise very demanding. For even more variety why not try designing your own complexes? There is no other training tool that allows you to transfer seamlessly from one exercise to another quite like a kettlebell. The only limit here is your imagination.

Kettlebell training teaches reduces your susceptibility to injury

The downward phase of kettlebell exercises such as the swing and snatch teach the body how to absorb force utilising multiple joints and over a long range of motion. These exercises also teach the body to redirect this force by taking advantage of a naturally occurring strength enhancing mechanism called ‘the stretch reflex’ This has fantastic carryover effects to your performance and helps ‘injury proof’ your body. Kettlebell training teaches your body how to work as a single unit (not as isolated parts) It requires the focus and recruitment of your whole body to control a kettlebell. This need to integrate and co-ordinate the whole muscular-skeletal system makes the carryover of kettlebell training to everyday life light years ahead of traditional resistance machines and other over-rated equipment you see in many of today’s modern gyms.
