Philosophy 5 = Nutrition trumps training when looking to burn fat....There is no getting around it, if you eat too much of the wrong things you will not burn fat, no matter how great your training.
Success Story
Being brand new to kettlebell training, I found the classes really different to any class (or training) that I'd done before. The varying nature of the different exercises and the classes have been brilliant and really give a great full body workout. Both enjoyable and tough (depending on how much you want to push yourself with the different weights) you get a great balance of strengthening your larger core muscles (and all round strength) as well as hitting and isolating individual muscles groups through the varying nature of the different exercises. Strength gains and endurance is definitely something I've personally noticed, and with a few rounds of intense circuits thrown in, its also a great fat burning workout. The classes change from one day to the next and keeps your body guessing which I think is a good thing. Another massive positive for me is that you unconsciously work some muscle groups unknowingly like your obliques which are typically difficult to isolate through using free weights. I personally also think that you gain benefits from using kettlebells as you use your body weight and larger muscle groups to maintain balance and posture as opposed to using machines that assist you in certain exercises.I would highly recommend the classes to anyone wanting to try something new and/or wanting to hit a full body workout!
